1. REMOVALS

• DOOR-DOOR SERVICE
  This is a full removal service from collection address to the delivery address and includes, wrapping, packing, crating, collection, transportation, customs clearance (origin and destination), delivery to the destination address, un-packing and setting up of furniture and removal of debris on the date of un-packing.
  
  
• DOOR-PORT SERVICE
  This is the same as the full door-to-door service but only up to the port of entry. This is offered where the client is able to arrange his/her own customs clearance at destination and delivery to the destination address.

NB: Stuttafords can also arrange relocation services from any country in the world to Zambia, through its own offices and fellow removalists in these respective countries.

2. PACKING ONLY

This is offered where the client arranges his/her own transportation and customs clearance for international moves. The service includes wrapping, packing and crating of household and personal effects, office furniture and new furniture for local removals, exports and imports. We use the following type of packing materials: bubble wrap, corrugated paper, wrapping paper, polythene and cartons. We have four types of carton, which are as follows: standard carton – used for packing kitchenware, crockery. Linen carton – used for packing clothes, curtains and blankets. Book carton – for packing books. Wardrobe carton – used to pack suits and clothing on hangers.

3. FREIGHT

Stuttafords is able to move your goods as follows:

• Airfreight for: local, regional and international moves.
• Sea freight for moves: within Africa and worldwide.
• Road Freight for moves: within a city, intercity and regional (neighbouring countries).

4. IMPORTS

• We provide destination services for imports including customs clearance, delivery to the destination address, unpacking and removal of debris on the day of delivery.
• We can also provide a full relocation services (packing, wrapping, crating, customs clearance, air or sea freighting, delivery to residence, unpacking and removal of debris for returning residents, returning diplomats and new residents.

5. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

We provide assistance in the preparation of documents and customs clearing of both exports and imports at all border customs points and also at all international Airports.

6. STORAGE

We provide secure short to long term  storage facilities for household goods and personal effects, new furniture, motor vehicles and commercial cargo.

NB: We store household goods and personal effects for individuals, companies and diplomats who may not want to relocate with their household goods and personal effects and companies for the period they want.
Our warehouse is guarded twenty four hours a day with armed security officers, premise is electrified and has adequate fire fighting equipment. Fumigation of the warehouse is done twice a month to prevent pest infestations.

7. INSURANCE

We offer insurance for all shipments that are being handled by ourselves at the following premiums:

• TRANSIT INSURANCE
  3% of the replacement value of the shipment.
• STORAGE INSURANCE
  1.5% of the replacement value.

THE PEOPLE

Stuttafords Zambia Ltd employs an experienced team of employees some of whom have been with the company since its inception ten years ago. All our employees go through continuous and relevant technical and professional training. Our team comprises of professional sales and marketing personnel who play a pivotal role in ensuring that clients are properly advised on the processes and documentation related to moving thus avoiding misunderstandings and complications.

Stuttafords Zambia boasts of a stable crew with a mixture of skills, i.e. packing and wrapping, loading, crating and assembling. Our drivers are experienced all- round operators who are well trained on removal procedures. The length of experience ranges from five to ten years of unbroken service.

We have the best packing team in the country, which means that when we pack your goods for either export or local movement they will reach their destination in their original condition.
